Fortified Rice Kernels (FRK) are man-made, grain-shaped kernels packed with essential vitamins and minerals. They are designed to look, cook, and taste exactly like regular rice but serve as a highly effective tool to combat "hidden hunger" and micronutrient deficiencies on a large scale.

Akshata is the first and only producer of FRK in Sri Lanka, the product has to be blended to a  with normal Rice at a  blending ratio of  (FRK) is 1:100 to 3:100 ,
Akshata FRK  delivers exactly 30% to 50% of an adult's daily required vitamins (like Iron, B12, and Folic Acid) in a normal single meal portion.
